FLUX
FLUX is a short adaptive 2D platformer prototype built in Unity.
The game is structured around round-based platform routes. The player moves through each route, collects an orb, and advances to the next round. As the session continues, the system tracks player performance and adjusts the challenge through route difficulty, platform spacing, platform width, and pressure state.
The goal of this prototype is to explore how adaptive difficulty can make a simple platformer feel more responsive to the player. Instead of using one fixed level, FLUX creates a changing flow of routes that reacts to how confidently the player is performing.
Controls:
A / D - Move
Space - Jump ( Hold for higher jumps)
